We didn't have the traditional wedding but a small intimate luncheon. This meant that every detail had to be perfect, especially the cake. Daniela did a fantastic job and used her artistry to create the look we wanted. We were thrilled that the cake not only was beautiful but it was delicious as well. 1. How much do your cakes cost?
Wedding cakes start at $5 per serving. This is for a buttercream iced cake with very simple piping. Most cakes we make start at $6 per serving and go up depending on the design.

2. How far in advance do I need to place an order ?
We would like as much lead-time as possible. If possible we ask you to give us 2 - 3 weeks notice on specialty cakes.
But if you have a short notice order, call us and we will always try to accommodate your needs.
3. I do not like fondant, can I still get a nice cake?
Yes. Cakes can be covered using lots of different materials such as buttercream, ganache and almond paste. My fondant work is extremely thin and it doesn’t affect the taste of the cake.
4. Your cakes look good, but do they taste good?
Absolutely! Our cakes are made to order using only the highest quality ingredients ( Valhona chocolate, organic butter just to mention a few). I was a pastry chef before becoming a cake designer so the taste of the cake matters the most for us.
5. Do you make decorated cookies ?
Yes, we take orders for hand decorated cookies. Prices start at $3 per cookie. We can also bag and tie your cookies with color- coordinated ribbon for a fee of $1 per cookie
6. Can you deliver ?
Yes, we do deliver to Austin, Texas. Contact us for delivery charges.
6. Do you do tastings?
Cake tastings are available upon request. If the order is placed within one week the tasting fee is applied towards the order.
As a Pastry Chef of 12 years, I have had the privilege of making cakes for The President of the United States as well as for Royalty and Dignitaries from other countries.
Before starting Glace Cakes, I worked at some of the top hotels in the country such as The Breakers in Palm Beach and the Phoenician in Scottsdale, where I practiced my craft next to some of the top pastry chefs in the world. More recently, I was the pastry chef for David Burke in NYC at his fine dining restaurant, Townhouse, and at the newly opened DBK in Soho.
Besides baking, I am passionate about my two wonderful kids and great and supportive husband.
